Textures

Flooring-
Both bars are concrete slabs consisting of tiled flooring. TH33BAR.1 located on the ground floor uses a dark slate tile suggesting a more serious and stern affect.
TH33BAR.2 which is on the first level has cream mosaic tiling which is more intimate and inviting to release the sense of comfort.
Structure-
The structure of TH33BAR is steel frame with rendered concrete 190 block work and a combination of corrugated iron and glazing for the roof structure.
The block work is very bland and rendered white so all attention is directed upon the artwork or sculptures of the time.
The steel frame work is rusted which gives a rustic vibe to perceive the notion of new block work and glazing with old steel rusted i beams can unite. just as new artwork and sculptures will be displayed with the old.
The corrugated iron is once again evidence of a modernistic and practical touch to the building.
Incorporating glazed glass is the main concept of the re-envision, it provides natural lighting which is essential for artwork and an extremely modernistic technique. The entry has one facade with a broken glass wall, which is where the name TH33BAR originates from due to all the 3 angled triangles.

Internal-
The TH33BAR.1 on ground floor is purely a white laminate bar with a touch of light timber to easy the mood and not be confronting or attract attention.
On the first level Th33BAR.2 can have a much more exotic feel, hence the use of much darker timber on the face of the bar.
The bar logo and part of the wall is layered with AstroTurf, a artificial grass material which is really lively and suggests a more friendly feel.
